About the heads-up
EduNext, at edunexco.com and a brand of Consumer Response Media, sends recurring automated marketing text messages to people who enter their own mobile number in the heads-up sign-up, the home page form or the contact form and check the text message box. The texts flag new articles and guides for the situation you chose and dates in the student aid year, along with messages about the sign-up or message itself, such as the confirmation and replies to HELP and STOP. Each text opens with [EduNext].
With the text message box left unchecked, the heads-up comes by email alone.
Sent directly by EduNext
Texts come only from EduNext, and your number, your consent and your answers stay with EduNext. Contact details are never handed to a school, lender, scholarship sponsor or anyone else. A text can point you to an article; it cannot file a form, apply for aid or enroll you in anything. Every step after that is yours, taken with your school or the agency in charge.
How opting in works
Mobile numbers are collected only through the heads-up sign-up, the home page form and the contact form, each with a text message box you check yourself. Once you opt in, one text arrives to confirm it.
Consent is not a condition of purchase or service.
How often
Message frequency varies, up to 4 messages per month.
