Why sort by situation
Most help for students is written as if every student were the same: eighteen, living on campus, supported by parents. Many are not. They are raising children, working full shifts, riding two buses, serving in the military or living on their own.
EduNext is a free magazine for them. Its 77 articles are sorted into 7 sections, one for each situation, and cover both student aid and the everyday benefits a student can look into, from child care and SNAP to the GI Bill and vocational rehabilitation.
Six guides cut across all of them, for the tasks every student meets sooner or later.
Sorted by situation
Each section gathers what applies to one kind of student, so a parent, a veteran or a student on their own can find their rules without reading everyone else's.
Checked against the rules
Articles follow what the agencies, states and schools behind each program publish. When a rule differs from place to place, the article names who sets it.
The office decides
EduNext explains and points the way. Your school and the agencies that run each program make every decision about your aid and benefits.
The seven sections
- Student parentsRaising a child while you study
- Working studentsHolding a job while you study

What EduNext never does
- Charge for anything, or ask for a fee to read or sign up
- Apply for aid or benefits, or file a form, on your behalf
- Pass your details to a school, lender, agency or anyone else
- Promise an amount, an outcome or a place at a school
